You will still have the ability to choose each year if you want to use your weeks or deposit your weeks for points .

How many points will you get for your week?

The number of points you receive depends on where your resort is located, its season, unit size, and how far in advance prior to its start date your vacation week is deposited. Unlike traditional weeks, once it is converted the weeks restriction of use disappears. The bottom line is points are points. If you have the required points for the vacation you desire, you go regardless of the season or unit size.
